PGA Tour Superstore to enter Denver market

PGA Tour Superstore announced it is expanding into the Denver market in May, adding an 11th location to the retail chain’s network.

The 50,000-square-foot location is slated to open in Greenwood Village. Like the chain’s previous locations, the new PGA Tour Superstore will be owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop Inc., whose controlling owner and chairman is Arthur M. Blank, retired Home Depot co-founder and owner of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.

PGA Tour Superstore now has three stores in metro Atlanta; two each in Dallas, Myrtle Beach and Phoenix; and one in Naples, Fla.

“Our new customers will quickly see that we are equipped to serve a broad range of golfers, with an emphasis on offering golf’s best brands, fitting products to each customer’s unique needs, and providing the broadest array of golf services,” said Dick Sullivan, president and CEO of PGA Tour Superstore, in a statement released March 4. The chain is the PGA Tour’s exclusive off-course/off-airport retail partner.

The store’s offerings will include personalized golf lessons and group clinics by golf professionals, club and ball fittings, club regripping and reshafting. It also will feature performance practice bays, hi-tech fitting and lesson simulators, a chipping area and a 2,000-square-foot putting green.
