The Aztecs, No. 10 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, continued to show they are a legitimate national contender with a two-stroke victory over UCLA at the USC Intercollegiate in Westlake Village, Calif. SDSU, which beat seven Pac-10 teams on its way to the title, shot rounds of 282-279-289 for a 2-under 850 total and its third victory in six starts this season. The Aztecs finished 14th at the event a year ago.
