Kohler Co. extends sponsorship of WGC events
A flagstick is seen during the completion of the first round of the 2011 WGC-Cadillac Championship at the TPC Blue Monster at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa.
The Kohler Co. announced a four-year extension of its sponsorship of the World Golf Championships.
As an official sponsor of the series, Kohler will continue to maintain a hospitality presence at the three World Golf Championships events held in the United States: the Accenture Match Play Championship at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Marana, Ariz.; the Cadillac Championship at TPC Blue Monster at Doral in Doral, Fla.; and the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
Kohler has maintained strong ties to golf: Last year, Kohler’s Old Course Hotel was the host hotel of the British Open in St. Andrews, Scotland, and its American Club was the host hotel of the PGA Championship in Kohler, Wisc.
Kohler is one of two official sponsors of the WGC events; Rolex is the other. The umbrella sponsors for the series are Accenture, Bridgestone, Cadillac and HSBC.
