Rank Winner Wild Card Last Week
Babineau Rory McIlroy

You know the story. Young kid climbs back on the horse.

Sergio Garcia

Not that he's there yet, but it's getting better, and his driving is a big asset here.

Winner: Steve Stricker (T-13); wild card: Pat Perez (MC)

Martin Bubba Watson

After all the talk of European dominance in golf, you have to love that a guy named Bubba is in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking. He was a runner-up here in 2009.

Tommy Gainey

Hard to bet against a guy with consecutive top-3 finishes, no matter how many golf gloves he wears.

Winner: Luke Donald (T-8); wild card: Chris Couch (T-51).

McCabe Paul Casey

No, there's no tournament history to speak of. He missed the cut in his only Quail Hollow appearance. And it's not like he's been burning it up, his best PGA Tour finish this year being a T-12 at Riviera. But he's been consistently adequate all year, which I'll translate thusly – he's on the verge of breaking out..

Tommy Gainey

How can you not go with Two Gloves? Coming off back-to-back third-place finishes and Quail Hollow is where he made his PGA Tour debut in 2007. Plus, given his South Carolina roots, he has to feel at home in Charlotte.

Winner: Bubba Watson (1); wild card: Jason Dufner (T-3).

Ringler Jim Furyk

Four top 10s including a victory in 2006 at Quail Hollow. Furyk's current form is picking up with four consecutive top 25s.

Sergio Garcia

Quietly Sergio may be creeping back to form. Placed second at Quail Hollow in 2005.

Winner: Luke Donald (T-8); wild card: Charles Howell III (T-13).

Miceli Jim Furyk

Finding his game both on and off the greens and he's a previous winner.

Steve Marino

Hasn't won yet, but should have. It's possible that Quail Hollow will be the place.

Winner: Luke Donald (T-8); wild card: Spencer Levin (MC)
