Kim notches second OneAsia Maekyung Open title

Behind a 6-under 66 in the final round, Kyung-tae Kim claimed his second GS Caltex Maekyung Open title in Seoul on the OneAsia Tour.

Kim won by a dominating eight strokes, the largest margin of victory in the 30 years of the tournament.

“Last year I did not win, but before this season I set my goal to win in Korea, and I am delighted to be able to win this event for the second time,” Kim said. He won three times on the Japan Tour last season.

Kim moved to second place on the OneAsia Order of Merit, trailing only Andre Stolz.

Hyung-sung Kim closed with two rounds of 66 over the weekend to finish in second place.
