Lee (NR, 2012) commits to UMKC

Sandra Lee of San Antonio has given a verbal commitment to play college golf at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Lee, who also made an unofficial visit to Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa., decided to stay a little closer to home.

“I choose UMKC because of the great leadership and coaching skill Coach (Brianna) Broderick has at UMKC. When I visited the school, the city was beautiful and the campus was phenomenal,” Lee said. “The team at UMKC is very dedicated and determined, which I thought I would love to be part of their team.”

Lee, who attends James Madison High School, has recorded three career top-5 finishes in AJGA events and won the 2008 Texas Girls Junior Championship.
