Keegan Bradley took a two-shot lead after Round 1 of the HSBC Champions in Shanghai. This might complicate things.

Remember that the PGA Tour announced last week it would delay sending out ballots for Player of the Year voting until after the WGC event, which would count as an official PGA Tour victory if a member were to win.

If he were to win this week, Bradley would become the only player with three PGA Tour victories this season, after his wins at the Byron Nelson and the PGA Championship. Both of the other frontrunners in the Player of the Year race, Luke Donald and Webb Simpson, have two victories. Donald also had 14 top 10s in 19 starts and won the money title, while Simpson recorded 12 top 10s in 23 starts.

If Bradley were to win this week, would it be enough to earn him Player of the Year honors?
