Player of the Week: Viviana Vazquez
Viviana Vazquez of Santiago Nuevo Leon, Mexico shot 4-over 148 (74-74) at the International Golf Course at ChampionsGate (Fla.) and won the Optimist Tournament of Champions in a playoff.
Vazquez, 15, made birdie on the first hole of sudden death with Mary Fran Hillow. Vazquez finished in the top 15 in three of four AJGA starts this year, including a fifth-place finish at the AJGA Lubbock Junior.
