Prange named head coach at Jacksonville
Ashley Prange has been named women’s head coach at Jacksonville. Prange is coming off a six-year professional career that included two wins on the LPGA Futures Tour.
Prange spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Stetson, helping lead the Hatters to back-to-back Atlantic Sun Conference titles. In addition to her two wins as a professional, Prange won the The Golf Challenge “Big Break” in 2006, and has 22 top-10 finishes in Futures events. She held full-time membership on the LPGA tour in 2007.
“Ashley brings a great mix of experience, ability and passion to our program,” said JU head golf coach Mike Blackburn. “We are excited to have someone of her caliber take over the team and build it into one of the best in the Southeast.”
Jacksonville is No. 165 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings.
