Memphis holds on to win Wolfpack title

Memphis held on for a two-stroke victory over North Carolina-Greensboro on Tuesday at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate. UNC-Greensboro shot a 3-over 287, the best team score of the final round. Memphis shot 6-over 290 for a 9-over 861 total at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at North Carolina State.
Louisiana-Lafayette (292) finished third at 14-over 866, followed by East Carolina (293) and Campbell (295) at 870. The host Wolfpack finished seventh.
UNC-Greensboro’s Robert Hoadley won the individual title with a 4-under 209, two shots ahead of Jack Belote of Memphis.
