Oklahoma State earned its second consecutive win this season after finishing one shot ahead of runner-up Arizona at the Windy City Collegiate on Tuesday. The win leaves new head coach Alan Bratton with a perfect start at the helm of the Cowgirls' program.

Oklahoma State shot 18-over 882 at Glen View (Ill.) Golf Club for the week, and managed to hold off a final-round charge by Arizona. The Wildcats shot even-par 288 in Round 3 to Oklahoma State’s 293, but fell a single shot short of a playoff. Both teams also claimed an individual co-medalist as Oklahoma State’s Kelsey Vines and Arizona’s Isabelle Boineau finished at 2-under 214.

The Cowgirls opened the season with a victory at the Dale McNamara Invitational on Sept. 14. At the Windy City, Oklahoma State counted three players in the top 15, as Jayde Panos and Amy Ruengmateekhun finished T-11 at 5-over 221.

Ohio State tied Arizona for the lowest third-round score, but finished another shot behind in third. TCU (34-over 898) and Texas (35-over 899) rounded out the top 5.
