When December comes, you can bask in the warmth of the Arizona sun while competing with a friend in the Golfweek Amateur Four-Ball.
This 36-hole two-person team event will be flighted after the first round and take place at the renowned Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.
Among the more popular formats for team golf, four-ball competition allows you to play your own ball while involving yourself in critical decisions of gamesmanship.
With Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino as the resort hotel, you will enjoy world class golf by day and world class gaming by night.

Format: 36 holes. 2-man teams compete in a gross score best ball competition.
Prize pool is $12,000 based on 120 players.
There will be 4 flights on a sellout of 120 players; 3 flights at minimum.
All flights will be based on what each team shoots on Day 1. If you play on the C or D flight, you can still be competitive—and may be leading your flight—after Day 1.
Team skins game each day. $40 per team awarded by flight skins.
Pool based on $12,000 with 4 flights:
1st - $1,250 team
2nd - $750 team
3rd - $500 team
4th - $300 team
5th - $200 team
Field Size: 120 players / 60 teams
Registration Fee: $600 per team includes:
• 2 tournament rounds with greens fees, cart fees and range balls
• Prize fund of $100 per team, which will include payouts in each division. Payouts will be awarded as gift certificates to Southern Dunes Pro Shop
• One Players Luncheon after the first round
• Team Awards to champions in each flight
• Tee gifts
