Player of the week: Marta Sanz
Sanz, who is from Madrid, Spain, posted rounds of 69-70-68 for a 9-under 207 total to win the Tar Heel Invitational by one shot over over North Carolina State's Augusta James, Alabama's Brooke Pancake and Michigan State's Caroline Powers. The victory is the first of her college career for the sophomore.
