Led by Eugene Wong, Oregon won its third tournament of the year, tying Cal for first with a 41-under 811 total at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational.

Wong, the 2010 Jack Nicklaus Award winner, posted a five-shot victory over Cal’s Max Homa, finishing 18 under par (65-63-67).

The win keeps the Ducks perfect on the season after victories at the St. Mary’s Invitational and The Prestige at PGA West. Oregon, No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, also received a T-3 showing from freshman Rak Cho and a T-12 finish from senior Daniel Miernicki.

San Diego State (33 under) took third place, finishing eight shots behind the tie for first, while San Francisco (28 under) finished fourth.

Oregon will look to make their season a perfect four-for-four at UCLA’s event at CordeValle on Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
