Rank Winner Wild Card Last Week
Rude Jason Day

In form and at course that suits his game. Last four starts include T-3 at Deutsche Bank, T-13 at Barclays and T-4 at WGC Bridgestone.

Brandt Snedeker

Looks like he's ready to win. T-3 in the first two playoff events, at Barclays and Deutsche Bank. And played well here at Cog Hill two years ago before Sunday collapse.

Winner: Adam Scott (T-8); wild card: Andres Romero (T-31)

McCabe Ryan Moore

Hunch time, but he's seemingly been on the cusp of winning for a good portion of the season and he was T-3 here a year ago.

Jim Furyk

He's plunged to No. 66 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, yes. But he's shown signs of life in recent weeks, including a T-9 at Wyndham, and here's guessing he'll have his playoff game in good form.

Winner: Nick Watney (T-61); wild card: Ryan Palmer (T-61).

Martin Dustin Johnson

The defending champion here has had a good FedEx Cup, winning the Barclays and playing a good 54 holes at the Deutsche Bank before a final-round 75.

Ernie Els

It's been a struggle this year for Els, but maybe making that 6-foot birdie putt on the final hole at Deutsche Bank to earn his BMW berth will give him some life. He's played solidly in his last three starts, finishing 30th, 32nd and 16th.

Winner: Rickie Fowler (T-52); wild card: Jim Furyk (6th).

Miceli Dustin Johnson

Defending champion and playing well, not much more to say.

Vijay SIngh

Back is fine and he knows what it takes to win these events since he won it all back in the day.

Winner: Steve Stricker (T-42); wild card: Brandt Snedeker (T-3) readers: We value your input and welcome your comments, but please be respectful in this forum.
