OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. – The Stanford men picked up its first team title since February 2010, clearing the field at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational by 16 shots.

The Cardinal, ranked No. 3 in the Golfweek preseason rankings, finished at 9-over 849, with Auburn and Oklahoma State finishing at 25-over 865. Alabama (27 over) and Texas (33 over) rounded out the top five.

Stanford freshman Patrick Rodgers took medalist honors in his first college tournament, finishing three shots ahead of the field at 4 under. Dylan Frittelli of Texas was the only other player under par, finishing at 1 under. Stanford's Andrew Yun (1 over) and Cameron Wilson (2 over) finished in third and fourth, respectively, while Drew Page (Oklahoma State) and Bobby Wyatt (Alabama) finished T-5 at 4 over.

U.S. Walker Cupper Blayne Barber led the attack for Auburn, finishing T-7 at 5 over.
