Last week: Bubba Watson won the Masters for his first major title, beating Louis Oosthuizen with a par on the second hole of a playoff. Watson hooked a gap wedge off pine needles from 155 yards to about 10 feet to set up his winning two-putt par.
Notes: Snedeker won a playoff at Torrey Pines in January for his third PGA Tour title. ... The top-ranked Donald is coming off a 32nd-place tie in the Masters. ... Jim Furyk won the 2010 event on the first playoff hole after Brian Davis called a two-stroke penalty on himself for moving a loose impediment in a hazard during his backswing. ... In 2009, Brian Gay finished with a 64 for a tournament-record 10-stroke victory. Gay also broke the event scoring record, finishing at 20-under 264. ... Boo Weekley won in 2007 and 2008. ... Five-time champion Davis Love III is making his 27th straight appearance in the event. The U.S. Ryder Cup captain last won at Hilton Head in 2003, beating Woody Austin in a playoff. ... The Texas Open is next week at TPC San Antonio, followed by the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Last event: Fred Couples won the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic on March 25, birdieing the final hole for a one-stroke victory over Michael Allen.
Notes: Bernhard Langer won the 2010 tournament. He missed the event left year because of a left thumb injury. ... Kirk Triplett is making his first Champions Tour start. The three-time PGA Tour winner turned 50 on March 29. ... The Legends of Golf is next week in Savannah, Ga.

Last event: Denmark’s Thorbjorn Olesen won the Sicilian Open on April 1 for his first European Tour title, edging England’s Chris Wood by a stroke.
Notes: Manassero is in the field along with Masters playoff loser Louis Oosthuizen, 2011 Masters winner Charl Schwartzel, 2010 PGA champion Martin Kaymer and Asian Tour stars Thongchai Jaidee, Jeev Milkha Singh and Liang Wen-chong. ... Australia’s Scott Hend won the Asian Tour’s rain-shortened Singapore Classic on Sunday. ... The European Tour will remain in Asia the next two weeks for the China Open and Ballantine’s Championship in South Korea. The Asian Tour will be in Jakarta next week for the Indonesian Masters.

Last year: Daniel Chopra won when fog wiped out the final round. The Swede shot a career-best 9-under 61 in the third round to take a one-stroke lead.
Last week: Andres Gonzales won the Soboba Golf Classic in San Jacinto for his first Nationwide Tour title, beating Andrew Svoboda by two strokes in a wire-to-wire victory.
Notes: Gonzales, second in the season-opening Colombia Championship, leads the money list with $195,810. The top 25 at the end of the season will earn 2013 PGA Tour cards. ... Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice is in the field. ... The tour is off the next two weeks. Play will resume April 26-29 with the South Georgia Classic.

Last event: Sun Young Yoo won the Kraft Nabisco Championship on April 1 with an 18-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole, earning her first major title after I.K. Kim missed a 1-foot putt on the final hole of regulation. Yoo and Kim finished at 9 under, a stroke ahead of top-ranked Yani Tseng.
