HALF MOON BAY, Calif. – Some would say the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate constituted a pretty good preview of the Pac-12 Women's Championship later this month. If so, then UCLA has to feel pretty good about its chances.

The Bruins won by six strokes over rival USC in a 15-team event that featured nine Pac-12 schools – including five conference rivals in the top 25 of the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings – on Tuesday at Half Moon Bay Golf Links' Ocean Course.

UCLA, which won for the sixth time this season, was led by individual medalist Erynne Lee, who finished at 9-under 207 and earned a three-shot victory over USC's Lisa McCloskey. Lee was joined in the top 5 by teammates Tiffany Lua (T-3) and Brianna Do (T-5), as the Bruins survived a rally by the third-ranked Trojans, who shot a final-round-best 10-under 278.

UCLA, which posted a 2-under 286 Tuesday, had led USC by 14 shots entering the final day. The Bruins finished with a 15-under 849 total to the Trojans' 9-under 855. Stanford (868) finished third, followed by Arizona (869), Washington (871) and California (872).

The two Pac-12 teams not in the Pacific Coast field were No. 4 Arizona State and No. 11 Colorado. The Pac-12 Women's Championship will be held April 27-29 at Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash.
