19. Central Florida

2011-2012 Golfweek rank: 22

Go-to-guy: Ricardo Gouveia

Season outlook: Although Central Florida's streak of three consecutive Conference USA titles ended last season, the Knights did advance to their first NCAA Championship since 2009. UCF finished T-19 at Riviera Country Club after leading at one point early in the tournament. The 2011-12 campaign also included three victories and no finish worse than T-8 during the regular season.

UCF is ready to build on those successes this season. The Knights lost Brad Schneider and his 72.1 stroke average to graduation, but bring back a solid trio of juniors: 2012 Conference USA medalist Greg Eason, Jose Joia and Ricardo Gouveia, who advanced to the quarterfinals of the recent U.S. Amateur. A fourth junior, Kyle Wilshire, also saw a lot of action last season, making UCF arguably the most-experienced team in the conference.

The Knights will compete at the Isleworth Collegiate in October and also will defend their titles at the Northern Intercollegiate and Adams Cup of Newport.
