Johnny Jones of Flowermound, Texas, shot 3-under 69 at Horseshoe Bay (Texas) Resort’s Slick Rock Course to win the weather-shortened Texas Junior Golf Tour Championship Invitational.
Jones, 16, closed with two birdies in his final four holes to beat Dillon van Essen by one shot. This is Jones’ seventh TJGT victory in the past year, and two of those were in TJGT major championships.
