Heda (NR, 2013) commits to George Washington

Michael Heda has given a verbal commitment to play college golf for George Washington University. He also made unofficial visits to Central Florida, James Madison, North Florida, College of Charleston and Emory, and also was considering Northwestern and Michigan.
Heda, who lives in Weston, Fla., and plays for Cypress Bay High School, chose George Washington because of its high academic standards and the opportunity to spend four years in Washington D.C. Heda also felt the school would be a good fit because of head coach Terry Shaffer’s influence on the golf program.
Heda has two top-15 finishes in AJGA events and won his Callaway Junior World qualifier in 2011.
