Nike Method Core Weighted putters
Saturday, December 14, 2013
Nike Golf's Method Core putters originally were created to broaden the reach of the company's Method putting technology to players who may not be able to pay $250 for a flat stick. With the release of the Method Core Weighted line, Nike expanded the reach even further.
Like their predecessors, the putters in the Method Core Weighted line have a polymer-metal grooved face insert that Nike claims will soften feel, reduce skidding and get the ball rolling faster.
What's new, however, is the addition of weights in the sole of the line's five models. Golfers can't adjust the weights, but they allow Nike to match each club's ideal length and swing weight. The shorter the putter, the heavier the head.
All of the Method Core Weighted putters are finished in non-glare satin chrome with simple alignment lines. While the mallet has a unique shape, the other four are classic designs.
All five models should retail for about $139.
