TaylorMade RocketBallz Urethane golf ball

The ideal golf ball reduces spin off the tee to maximize carry distance, but gives golfers enough feel and spin around the greens with a wedge in their hands to stop quickly.
With the three-piece RocketBallz Urethane, TaylorMade believes it has created just such a ball.
The RocketBallz Urethane has a soft, high-speed core that is covered by a thin mantle layer and a cast urethane cover that features a new 360-dimple pattern. The company claims that the LDP (Low-Drag Performance) cover works better in windy conditions and helps the ball hold its line more effectively.
While this ball will spin more off the tee than TaylorMade's four-piece Lethal ball, and therefore carry slightly less far, because it has the same outer cover, it should react almost identically on pitch shots, chip shots and approach shots with short irons.
The three-piece RocketBallz Urethane provides many of the game-enhancing qualities usually associated with premium balls, but at a lower price ($29 per dozen).
