PGA launches ad campaign for Get Golf Ready

Continuing its push to grow the game, the PGA of America debuted today a promotional campaign for the Get Golf Ready initiative on ESPN Radio and Yahoo.com.
Get Golf Ready is a series of group lessons designed to help beginners not only learn basic swing mechanics, but how to navigate their way around a golf course. Industry leaders are trying to make Get Golf Ready – and its “real-life” approach to teaching golf – a uniform and affordable means to attract more participants to the game.
According to the PGA, a variety of commercial spots promoting Get Golf Ready will air nationally on ESPN Radio programs such as “Mike & Mike in the Morning,” “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” and “The Scott Van Pelt Show.”
In addition, the PGA is running a geographically targeted marketing campaign on Yahoo.com.
