Meadow, Sanchez Lobato advance to Ladies' British final

Stephanie Meadow of Northern Ireland will play Spain's Rocio Sanchez Lobato in the final match of the Ladies British Open Amateur Championship at Carnoustie.
Meadow, a 20-year-old Alabama student, beat 16-year-old Georgia Hall 3 and 2 in the second semi-final match.
In the first semi-final, Sanchez Lobata defeated France's Perrine Delacour by two holes. Delacour, the 2009 British girls champion, is ranked No. 25 in the world.
Meadow, who holed the winning putt for GB&I in the recent victory over the United States at the Curtis Cup, is ranked No. 20 in the world. She was 46th of the 64 qualifiers for the match-play stages at Carnoustie. 19-year-old Sanchez Lobato, is ranked No. 193 in the world.
