Player of the week: Julien Brun, TCU
The Horned Frogs freshman won medalist honors at the John Hayt Invitational, shooting 68-71-72 to finish at 5-under 211, one shot ahead of teammate Johan de Beer, in leading TCU to a tie for fifth place as a team. Brun's victory was his second of the year, making him the first TCU freshman to win two events in a season. He won the title at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate in the fall.
