Texas A&M jumped from second to first in the final round of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational to win its first team title of the season.

The Aggies, No. 22 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, posted their best team score of the week - 10-over 298 - to finish at 37-over 901 at the Kaneohe Klipper course in Kane’ohe, Hawaii.

Texas A&M finished four shots ahead of runner-up UC-Davis, and second-round leader Gonzaga fell to third at 46-over 910.

Idaho’s Kayla Mortellaro won the individual title with a 5-over 221. She leapfrogged Coastal Carolina’s Brittany Henderson and Gonzaga’s Alice Kim in the final round to win her ninth career collegiate victory.
