AWENDAW, S.C. - Three Auburn players finished in the top 4 individually, leading the third-ranked Tigers to their third victory of the season Tuesday at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.

Auburn sophomore Niclas Carlsson posted a final-round 71 and finished at 5-under 211 at Bulls Bay Golf Club to edge teammate Blayne Barber and Kentucky's David Snyder by a shot for his second college title. Auburn's Will McCurdy finished fourth at 3-under 213.

In the team competition, the Tigers finished at 10-under 854, nine shots ahead of Virginia, which is ranked No. 24 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings. Texas A&M, ranked No. 15, finished third at 866. Auburn has finished in the top 4 in each of its eight starts this season, including seven top 3s.
