Shun Yat Hak, the No. 1 player in the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Rankings, has signed a national letter of intent with Georgia Tech. He is expected to play this fall for the Yellow Jackets.

Hak, a Hong Kong native who lives in Lake Mary, Fla., also is No. 1 in the AJGA’s Polo Golf Rankings. He won five AJGA titles, including the 2011 Rolex Tournament of Champions and 2012 HP Boys Championship, two of the association’s biggest tournaments. He also set the European Tour record for youngest player to make a cut when he did so as a 14-year-old at the 2008 Hong Kong Open. He finished 46th in that event last year.
