Hanna resigns as Furman women's coach
Jen Hanna, who spent seven seasons as head women's coach at Furman, resigned Wednesday.
The decision is effective immediately, director of athletics Gary Clark said.
Hanna led Furman to two Southern Conference titles, five NCAA regional appearances and one trip to the NCAA Championship.
The Paladins placed fourth at this season's SoCon Championship and missed out on an NCAA regional berth for the second straight year, after a 21-year NCAA postseason streak.
