Higgs (NR, 2013) commits to SMU
Alex Higgs of Overland Park, Kan., has given a verbal commitment to play college golf for SMU. Higgs also considered and visited Kansas and Colorado.
His older brother Harry is a junior on the golf team at SMU.
Higgs attends Blue Valley North High School and plays on the golf team.
He has three top-40 finishes in three AJGA events in 2012. His best finish came in 2010 with a tie for eighth at the Junior All-Star at The Rail.
