STANFORD, Calif. – Led by individual medalist Kyung Kim, the USC women's team claimed a four-stroke victory over Washington on Oct. 21 at the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Condoleezza Rice. The Trojans shot a final-round 2-over 286 and finished at 5-over 857 on the par-71 Stanford University Golf Course. Host Stanford finished third at 16-over 868, one shot ahead of Arizona.

Washington, which also shot a final-round 286, was led by individual runner-up SooBin Kim, who shot a 4-under 209, three shots behind Kyung Kim's winning 7-under 206. Kyung Kim posted a 5-under 66 in Round 2 before finishing with a 3-under 68. USC also got a top-3 finish from Doris Chen, who tied for third with Oregon State's Lauren Sewell at 1-under 212.

Another Pac-12 power, UCLA, continued its early-season struggles. The Bruins, No. 2 in Golfweek's preseason rankings, tied for eighth at Stanford, marking its third consecutive finish out of the top 7.
