Garcia (No. 72, 2013) commits to New Mexico

Andre’ Garcia has given a verbal commitment to play college golf at New Mexico. Garcia made unofficial visits to Texas A&M, Arkansas and Oklahoma before deciding to commit to New Mexico.

Garcia was attracted to New Mexico because of the opportunity to play for a top golf program, and under the tutelage of head coach Glen Millican.

Garcia, who attends Mansfield (Texas) High School, is ranked No. 22 in Texas and helped his high school team to the 5A state title during his sophomore season. He finished T-3 at the Byron Nelson Junior Open and T-11 at the AJGA BilliardFactory.com Junior Championship.
