Season outlook: The Tigers should think often of missing last spring’s NCAA Championship – and get mad about it. Auburn returns three starters from last season’s SEC title team in Sanz, Victoria Trapani and Carlie Yadloczky. Head coach Kim Evans also added three freshmen to that roster (Alex Harrell, Megan Wilshire and Jamie Yun), while junior Diana Fernandez and sophomores Nicole Quinn and Lakin Eddy return, too. The bodies are there, but someone needs to take hold of the No. 4 spot. After advancing to the second round of match play at the U.S. Women’s Amateur, Fernandez is a good candidate.
