Season outlook: Someone needs to steps up – and the early bet is Lee – to replace Giulia Molinaro, a big loss for the Sun Devils. With a squad of five gritty players, expect it to happen. The group of players head coach Melissa Luellen brought in at the start of 2011 and led through a marathon spring season have now matured. The Sun Devils’ past two NCAA Championship berths haven’t been easy, but last year’s ended with a T-6 finish. Arizona State has been a prime example of doing more with less.
