Go-to girl: Manon Gidali

Season outlook: If the three newbies on this year’s roster adjust as quickly as did Gidali, who won her first start for the Wildcats last spring, Arizona should fare just fine. Ohio State transfer Kendall Prince, a sophomore, and freshmen Anna Kim and Janie Jackson must get similarly comfortable for the ’Cats to soar.

After the loss of three strong seniors at the end of last season (Margarita Ramos, Isabelle Boineau and Nikki Koller – all of whom have been with head coach Laura Ianello since she took the reigns two seasons ago), Arizona looks a lot different this year. The Wildcats will play their usually tough schedule – with early stops at the Mason Rudolph and Stanford Intercollegiate. A lot of potential on this roster.
