Connor Flach of Ellicot City, Md., has given a verbal commitment to play for Loyola University of Maryland in the fall of 2013. Flach attends Centennial High School, and also made unofficial visits to Towson, High Point and James Madison.

Flach said he seriously considered all four schools, but chose Loyola-Maryland in the end because of the opportunity to play for head coach Chris Baloga.

“I really like the direction he is taking the program and I know I will get better every year as a Greyhound,” he said.

Flach qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur earlier this summer, and was runner-up at the Maryland Junior Amateur. He finished T-4 at the Steve Marino AJGA Junior.
