Connor Black of Humble, Texas, has given a verbal commitment to play for Oklahoma State in the fall of 2014. He attends A Beka Academy.
Black also considered and made visits to Wake Forest, Arizona State, Texas A&M, LSU and Duke.
“Coach (Mike) McGraw was a big reason why I chose Oklahoma State, along with all the history in the program,” Black said.
Black made it to the Round of 32 at the 2012 U.S. Junior Amateur. In 2011, he won the Western Junior Amateur and was on the Rolex Junior All-America first team.
