MIDLAND, Texas – Defending champion Danny Lee shot 7-under 65 to take the lead Saturday at the Web.com Tour's WNB Golf Classic at Midland Country Club.
Lee, who is looking to become the first player to defend a tournament title on the Web.com Tour, is 16 under for the tournament and leads Cameron Percy and Morgan Hoffmann by two shots.
Jamie Lovemark is fourth at 12 under, and Luke Guthrie, Aaron Goldberg and Justin Hicks are T-5 at 11 under.
Status for the 2015 Web.com Tour season will be on the line Thursday through Tuesday at Web.com Tour Q-School, where former college standouts Cameron Wilson and Trey Mullinax will tee it up.
