Here are the 2012 HP Scholastic Junior All-America teams, announced Sept. 26 by the AJGA, which recognize 12 boys and 12 girls who have excelled on the course and in the classroom:

BOYS

Jack Adolfson, Niwot, Colo. (2013)

Adolfson, a senior at Silver Creek High School, posted three AJGA top-25 finishes during the 2012 season, including his T-7 showing at the AJGA Junior at Fox Hill. Academically, Adolfson holds a weighted GPA of 4.333 and is ranked sixth in his class of 200 students.

Max Alcorn, Poway, Calif. (2013)

A senior at Poway High School, Alcorn opened the 2012 AJGA season with a top-five finish at the Aspen Junior Golf Classic before competing in three other AJGA events, including a top-20 finish at the Sunriver Junior Open. The San Francisco University commit boasts a 4.3548 weighted GPA.

Christopher Chu, Fullerton, Calif. (2013)

Chu, a senior at Sunny Hills High School, carded two top-15 finishes during the 2012 season. After tying for ninth at the Deutsche Bank Partners for Charity Junior Shootout in July, Chu followed with a tie for 15th at the AJGA Junior at Robinson Ranch. Chu carries a weighted GPA of 4.5455.

Robert Deng, Irvine, Calif. (2013)

A senior at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, Robert Deng captured his first AJGA victory this summer at the Deutsche Bank Partners for Charity Junior Shoot Out. He earned three additional top-20 victories in 2012 including a T-5 showing at the Under Armour/Hunter Mahan Championship in April. Academically, Deng holds a weighted GPA of 4.39.

Conley Hurst, Little Rock, Ark. (2013)

A senior at Episcopal Collegiate School, Hurst recorded two top-15 AJGA finishes during the 2012 season. He opened the summer with an 11th-place finish at the AJGA Music City Junior, and followed it with a T-9 showing at the William Penn Junior Championship. Hurst’s academics are highlighted by a 4.35 weighted GPA.

Scott Jaster, Bryn Mawr, Pa. (2013)

Jaster, a senior at The Haverford School, has achieved a weighted GPA of 4.7 in his first three years of high school. Jaster recorded a third-place finish at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Partners for Charity Junior Shootout to give him three top-five performances in his AJGA career.

Matt Kern, Springboro, Ohio (2013)

Kern, a senior at Springboro High School, has compiled a weighted GPA of 4.198 in his first three years of high school, which ranks 10th in his class of 369. He recorded a T-7 finish at the 2012 Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands to go along with four additional top-10 performances in his AJGA career.

Jeffrey Lang, Lexington, Mass. (2013)

Lang, a senior at Lexington High School, has achieved a cumulative GPA of 4.04 in his first three years of high school. He recorded two AJGA top-five performances in 2012, including a third-place finish at the Killington Junior Golf Championship in June.

Zachary Martin, Pinehurst, N.C. (2013)

A senior at Pinecrest High School, Martin carries a weighted GPA of 4.9348, which is eighth in his class of 433. On the golf course, Martin posted a pair of top-10 finishes in AJGA competition in 2012, with his best finish being a T-8 showing at the E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship.

Davis Morrison, Charlotte, N.C. (2013)

A senior at Myers Park High School, Morrison carries a weighted GPA of 5.0833, which is 17th in his class of 614. On the golf course, Morrison competed in four AJGA tournaments in 2012, with his best finish being a T-7 showing at the Woodward Video Junior at The Greenbrier.

Josh Radcliff, Coppell, Texas (2013)

A senior at Dallas Jesuit, Radcliff carries a 97.3 GPA, which is in the top 8 percent of his class. On the golf course, Radcliff competed in four AJGA events in 2012, with his best finish being a T-5 showing at the Goodman Networks Junior at Timarron.

Li Wang, Sammamish, Wash. (2013)

A senior at Eastlake High School, Wang concluded his 2012 AJGA campaign with his second top-10 finish of the season after a T-8 finish at the Genesis Junior Championship – he also placed T-2 at the ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior. In the classroom, Wang has a perfect 4.0 GPA and ranks first among his class of 406 students.

GIRLS

Elisabeth Bernabe, Anaheim Hills, Calif. (2013)

Ranked No. 30 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Bernabe finished in the top 15 in all five AJGA starts in 2012, including consecutive victories at The Peninsula Junior Classic and the CorseMax/Philadelphia Runner Junior. The Canyon High School senior carries a weighted GPA of 4.8.

Aliea Clark, Carlsbad, Calif. (2014)

A junior at Academy of Our Lady of Peace, Clark collected her first AJGA Open victory at the AJGA Junior at Steelwood. Additionally, she had top-five showings at two other events and is currently ranked No. 51 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Academically, Clark ranks 10th in her class of 184 students and has a weighted-GPA of 4.167.

Elizabeth Doty, Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. (2013)

The only repeat HP Scholastic Junior All-American on this year’s team, Doty boasts an AJGA record that includes 16 top-10 finishes. The Palos Verdes High senior captured her first victory in July at the David Toms Foundation Shreveport Junior. Doty carries a weighted GPA of 4.733.

Nina Fairbairn, Orinda, Calif. (2013)

Fairbairn, a senior at The College Preparatory School, tallied four AJGA top-10 finishes during the 2012 season. Academically, Fairbairn carries a 3.97 GPA.

Jordan Ferreira, University Place, Wash. (2013)

A senior at Bellarmine Preparatory School, Ferreira finished her 2012 AJGA season with a runner-up finish at the Sunriver Junior Open and third-place finish at the AJGA Junior at Fox Hill. Ranked No. 129 in the Polo Golf Rankings, Ferreira also cracked the top 10 at the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands, finishing T-8. She has verbally committed to Notre Dame and boasts a 3.95 GPA.

Sara Garmezy, Franklin, Tenn. (2013)

A senior at the University School of Nashville, Garmezy recorded a fourth-place showing at the AJGA Junior at Southwind. She holds a 3.93 GPA.

Alexandra Harkins, Crystal Lake, Ill. (2014)

A junior at Crystal Lake Central High School, Harkins was crowned an AJGA champion for the first time in her career at the 2012 Lockton Kansas City Junior. She also opened the season with three top-five showings in four AJGA tournaments. Her scholastic achievements include a 4.534 weighted GPA.

Alice Jeong, Gardena, Calif. (2013)

A senior at North Torrance High School, Jeong posted six top-20 performances in 2012, with her best showing at the AJGA Junior at Robinson Ranch where she tied for fourth. Ranked 11th in her class of 557 students, Jeong carries a weighted GPA of 4.4412.

August Kim, St. Augustine, Fla. (2013)

A senior at Nease High School, Kim carries a weighted GPA of 4.549, which is seventh in her class of 385. Kim’s athletic record includes three AJGA top-five finishes in 2012, including a win at the E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship. She is currently No. 63 in the Polo Golf Rankings and has verbally committed to Purdue.

Hana Ku, Basking Ridge, N.J. (2013)

Ku, a senior at Ridge High School, compiled a weighted GPA of 4.5315 in her first three years of high school. In 2012, Ku finished as a runner-up at both the Peninsula Junior Classic and William Penn Junior Championship. She has given a verbal commitment to play collegiate golf at Princeton.

Jordan Lippetz, Bradenton, Fla. (2013)

Lippetz, a senior at IMG Pendleton Academy, notched three AJGA top-10 finishes during the 2012 season. She notched a T-2 finish at the Lockton Kansas City Junior and took fourth at the McArthur Towel and Sports Future Legends. Academically, Lippetz maintains a weighted 4.47 GPA.

Katie Page, Louisville, Ky. (2013)

Page, a senior at Sacred Heart Academy, achieved a perfect 4.0 in her first three years of high school. The winner of this year’s essay contest has done well in AJGA events in her home state as she has finished in the top 10 the last two years at the Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior in Ashland, including a T-3 finish in 2012. Page has given a verbal commitment to attend SMU.
