Looper, Janzen among 4 qualifiers for Zurich Classic

Ken Looper played golf for the University of New Orleans before completing his career at LSU. He'll make his PGA Tour debut in his hometown event.

Looper, of Mandeville, La., shot 62 Monday at LaTour Golf Club in Mathews, La., to win the Monday qualifier for the Zurich Classic.

Matt Fast shot 63 to finish second, while Zack Fischer and two-time U.S. Open champion Lee Janzen shot 65 to grab the last two spots.

Fast took to social media to show his excitement: "Played the last 13 holes -10 to fire 63 in the Zurich Monday! Beyond excited to have to chance to play the Zurich Classic again!" he posted on his Twitter account, @mattcfast.

Fischer also Monday qualified for the Valero Texas Open, where he missed the cut.

Janzen, 48, has played five PGA Tour events this season, most recently the Valero Texas Open where he posted a season-best T-61.
