29. Central Florida

2012-13 Golfweek rank: 39

Go-to guy: Senior Greg Eason

Season outlook: The Knights return all five starters from last year’s squad that advanced to the NCAA Championship for the sixth time in school history, where they tied for 16th. The unquestioned headliner is first-team All-American Greg Eason, coming off an impressive junior campaign that included a scoring average of 70.97, 13 top-20 finishes and three victories, including the NCAA Tempe Regional. Eason, the Conference USA Player of the Year, was T-8 at the NCAA Championship and finished No. 17 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings.

Eason will be joined by fellow seniors Ricardo Gouveia, Kyle Wilshire and Jose Joia, who combined for 10 top-10 finishes last season, six of them by Gouveia. Sophomore Michael Visacki is the fifth returning postseason starter, and freshmen Ryan Stovash and Federico Zucchetti also will join the mix for UCF. Under head coach Bryce Wallor, the Knights have the senior experience to not only make it back to the NCAA Championship but perhaps even make a run at a match-play berth.
