McIlroy's Champions dinner menu at PGA Championship
Tuesday, August 6, 2013
As defending champion, Rory McIlroy is in charge of the Champions Dinner menu at the PGA Championship. What on tap this year?
A goat cheese and beet root salad to start. The second course is a Duet of “Irish” Beef Tenderloin.
For dessert, McIlroy chose Oak Hill’s Traditional Sticky Toffee Pudding, a popular item on any menu in Ireland/Northern Ireland.
After winning the 2012 PGA Championship at The Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C., McIlroy ended the season on a high note. He won two out of his last four events, and helped the European claim victory at the Ryder Cup.
He has four top-10 finishes in 12 events in 2013, including a runner-up finish at the Valero Texas Open.
