With array of clubs, Hedwall sets Solheim mark

At the Solheim Cup, Europe’s Caroline Hedwall accomplished what no other woman had done before at the biennial event.

Hedwall won five points, posting a sterling 5-0 record. The Swede’s equipment:

SHORT SHOTS: K.J. Choi surprised many observers by using a 12-degree driver at the Wyndham Championship. It was a TaylorMade SLDR model. . . . TaylorMade won the Wyndham driver count with 74 drivers in play. Choi and 33 others used the new SLDR. . . . Martin Kaymer, who does not like to switch his clubs, finally gave up a 5-year-old set of TaylorMade Tour Preferred MB irons for a full set of RBZ Tour irons. . . . Aldila won the all-wood shaft manufacturer count at the Wyndham.
