Tee times, pairings: World Challenge, Round 1
Wednesday, December 4, 2013
For the first time in three years, tournament host Tiger Woods will be playing with a different partner when the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge begins Thursday at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Woods has drawn Presidents Cup partner Matt Kuchar in the 10:25 a.m. PT tee time. Remember when the duo teamed up for some Fresh Prince high fives and Kuchar called Woods the Carlton to his Will Smith?
Other partners at Muirfield Village include Steve Stricker with Jordan Spieth at 10:14 a.m., another Presidents Cup duo, and Hunter Mahan with Bill Haas at 10:03 a.m.
The first two pairings are sets of countrymen. World No. 6 and Northern Ireland natives Rory McIlory and Graeme McDowell will tee off at 9:30 a.m., followed by Englishmen Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood at 9:41 a.m.
