Zach Johnson jumped from No. 16 to No. 9 in the latest Official World Golf Ranking following his playoff victory over Tiger Woods at the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge Sunday at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

It's the first time in Johnson's career that he has been ranked inside the top 10. He replaces Jason Day in the top 10 as Day drops to 11th. The victory also gives Johnson his second title in his last five starts.

Also moving up the rankings is Miguel Angel Jimenez, who improved 10 spots to 38th following his victory at the Hong Kong Open. Thomas Bjorn, who won the Nedbank Challenge on Sunday, moved from 34th to 25th.

Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson switched spots in the top 10, with Rose moving from fourth to fifth.
