Garcia uses hole-in-one to tie Rose for Thailand lead

CHONBURI, Thailand -- Behind a hole-in-one on the 236-yard eighth hole, Sergio Garcia jumped into a share of the lead with Justin Rose at the Thailand Championship.

Garcia was bogey free on the round, firing a 7-under 65.

Rose picked up a bogey early in the round on the third hole, but followed with two birdies and an eagle on No. 11 to fire a 68 after sitting in second place overnight.

The high-profile duo is two strokes ahead of Anirban Lahiri, Alexander Levy and first-round leader Alex Cejka, while Rickie Fowler is three back and Henrik Stenson is part of a group four back.
