NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and former President Bill Clinton will lead a panel on kids and sports next month in La Quinta, Calif.

Part of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative Conference, "An Evening with President Clinton and Champions of Golf" will take place Jan. 15, a day before the first round of the Humana Challenge.

The panel will discuss such topics as barriers to access, quality coaching, and health and safety, according to The Associated Press.

"It's a really important initiative for kids to understand that you're not just getting the benefits of being healthy, you're also understanding how to be great leaders, how to be unselfish, how to work within a group, competitive spirit," Bryant said.

The event will be broadcasted by ESPN in February.
