WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – At the Clicgear booth, push carts go from upright and golf-bag ready to small and compact in seconds. That’s good news for traveling players who want to bring along their own push cart, and especially good news for college coaches with a team full of push-cart users.
Clicgear push carts are designed to be compact so that three or four can fit in the trunk of a car at the same time. When folded up, two push carts can fit in a golf travel bag.
“They’re great for traveling, they’re lightweight, very durable,” said Todd Hansen, national sales manager for Clicgear. “What’s neat about it is just the convenience of it.”
Clicgear’s premium-model push cart, Named Model 3.5 Plus, is just 18 pounds and can be customized depending on the situation. There are about 25 different accessories that click onto the cart, and those range from coolers to seats to hand warmers (those are attached to the handle by velcro).
Clicgear’s smaller model is called the Rovic, and retails for about $179. The Model 3.5 Plus is priced at $219.
Because of their collapsable quality and bright accent colors, Clicgear carts are popular with college programs and Symetra Tour players. It fits the lifestyle of both the college golfer and the beginning professional.
