For the first time since the U.S. Open, Phil Mickelson will return to action at this week's Greenbrier Classic, joined by the likes of Webb Simpson, Bill Haas, Louis Oosthuizen, Tom Watson and Bubba Watson.

Yet, it is only Simpson that stands up as a predicted winner from our staff of experts. He is joined by Canadian Graham DeLaet and youngster Morgan Hoffmann as favorites this week.

The staff's underdog pick is a unanimous one, with 2011 Greenbrier champ Scott Stallings on the radar of all four panelists. Stallings has four top-10 finishes in his last six starts.

As for the panel, Lance Ringler remains in the driver's seat, while Jim McCabe continues to be on his heels in the season-long competition.

Here's a look at this week's picks:

Three top-4 finishes since late May. Won Greenbrier two years ago.

McCabe Graham DeLaet

Playing as consistently well as anyone, three top 10s in his last six starts, five for the season. Has been knocking on the door. Wouldn't be a shock if he kicked it in.

Scott Stallings

Can get on these impressive rolls, like a few weeks ago when he was inside the top five three consecutive tournaments. Has good vibes at Greenbrier, having won here in 2011.

Ringler Webb Simpson

Has performed well at The Greenbrier in the past two years, with a T-7 in 2012 and T-9 in 2013.

Scott Stallings

Picking Stallings because he’s a past champion here -- won in 2011.

Masuda Morgan Hoffmann

The past two seasons, a pair of first-time winners used Greenbrier as their coming-out party. Hoffmann has a pair of recent top 10s heading into this week.
